Three siblings wished to create unique, personalised gifts for their parents who had special birthdays coming up. Jenna worked with them to design and create a guitar pick and a dress ring, each set with three Australian sapphires, one for each sibling, and one Argyle diamond to represent each parent.
The ring was handmade while the guitar pick was hand carved out of wax and cast in silver using the lost-wax casting method. Jenna made the ring and carved the wax in our Melbourne studio. All casting is done off-site in 100% recycled metals. Jenna finished the pick and had all the stones set by hand in Melbourne with one of our local stone setters.
The silver used is alloyed with palladium to make it tougher, brighter and longer lasting than sterling silver.
